Situation
The operator of Hublibox in Spreitenbach (Canton Aargau, Switzerland) was looking to optimally position their modern self-storage offering, with units ranging from 1 m² to 100 m², in the market. The goal was to attract both private individuals — for example, those moving house, studying, or going abroad — and business clients. The challenge was to efficiently market the state-of-the-art facility at Industriestrasse 164, featuring 24/7 access, video surveillance, and an innovative mobile app, while ensuring smooth, highly automated operations.
Our Approach

We assisted with the integration of Stora self-storage software to establish a fully digital booking and management process — from online reservation to automated access control via PIN code and app. Additionally, we helped structure the unit mix and develop flexible rental models with monthly cancellation options to maximise appeal across various target groups.

Situation
Driven by their own experience of lacking storage space, the founders established KW-Box (“The Storage Professionals”) in Bremerhaven. Following initial success with garage rentals, a central new build was realised at Barkhausenstraße 9 — directly at the New Harbour, in the heart of the city centre. The operators required strategic support to optimally structure the new location with modern storage boxes from 1 to 21 m³, accelerate occupancy rates, and establish professional operating standards.
Our Approach
SPACE4YOU provided valuable insights for the pricing strategy and marketing of the new facility. We advised on optimising the space offering — from micro-units starting at 0.8 m² to medium-sized spaces of over 7 m² — to appeal to a broad target audience. The facility was equipped with video surveillance, an alarm system, and heating above 12°C. Furthermore, we supported the professionalisation of their online presence and visibility on relevant platforms to best capture local demand in Bremerhaven’s city centre.
